What is MNRI® Therapy?
MNRI® (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration®) therapy is a specialised, non-invasive approach that supports brain and body development by working with reflexes—the automatic movements we’re born with that form the foundation for movement, learning, emotional regulation, and sensory processing.

Understanding Reflex Integration
Primitive Reflexes
Primitive reflexes are the automatic, instinctive movements that babies are born with. They are controlled by the lower part of the brain and the spinal cord—not by conscious thought. These reflexes help babies survive and grow in their early months.
Reflex Development
As babies grow, they’re supposed to move through these reflexes naturally. Each reflex is only meant to be active for a short time—then it should fade (or integrate) as the brain develops and higher brain functions take over. But if a reflex doesn’t integrate fully—or stays active past the age it should—it can interfere with development. This is called a retained reflex.
Retained Reflexes can present as:
Poor concentration
Picky eating
Clumsiness
Reading, writing or spelling difficulties
Poor emotional regulation
(tantrums, impulsivity, aggression)
Sensory processing difficulties
Anxiety
(bedwetting, nail biting, poor sleep)
Speech delays
Developmental delays

Services
Paediatric MNRI® Therapy
Ages: 2 - 9
Marlize has a deep passion for helping children thrive. With a strong background in education, having served as a Foundation Phase teacher and Departmental Head, she is dedicated to supporting children in areas where they are struggling.
MNRI® Therapy can help children with the following:
Poor emotional regulation
Poor concentration
Speech and language difficulties
Fine motor challenges
Developmental delays
Picky eating
Anxiety
(bedwetting, nail biting, night wakings)
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Learning difficulties
Adolescent MNRI® Therapy
Ages: 10 - 18
The brain and nervous system remain plastic (changeable) throughout adolescence. The brain's neuroplasticity implies that MNRI's® gentle, non-invasive techniques can still activate and integrate reflex patterns that affect emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being—even in the teen years!
MNRI® Therapy can help teens with the following:
Sleep disturbances
Poor concentration
Attention and behaviour concerns
Social challenges
Support in studying for exams
Picky eating
Anxiety
(bedwetting, nail biting, night wakings)
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Learning difficulties
Adult MNRI® Therapy
Neuroplasticity doesn't end in childhood, meaning the brain continues to have the ability to change and adapt in response to experiences and learning. The MNRI® NeuroTactile Protocol can gently reopen neural pathways, promote integration, and support healing—no matter one's age.
MNRI® Therapy can help adults with the following:
Sleep disturbances
Burnout
Poor concentration
Trauma
Chronic pain
Tension release
Anxiety
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Mood swings
PTSD
